FibreGuide®: Data Centre Optical Raceway System

The evolution of centralized computing and Data centres have refined and redesigned the way we manage internetworking components. The increasing economy and bandwidth effectiveness of fibre have forced attention to the way fibre is managed. This has to be done bearing in mind the special handling requirements for fibre, and the need for packing all this in to expensive real estate. ADC KRONE recognized these trends and requirements and accordingly developed our fibre raceways.

FibreGuideFibreGuide is a raceway system designed to protect and route fibre optic patch cords and multi-fibre cable assemblies to and from fibre splice enclosures, fibre distribution frames and fibre optic terminal devices. FibreGuide ensures that a two-inch minimum bend radius is maintained throughout the system.

The FibreGuide system is a complete set of products designed and manufactured to ensure total off frame protection and ease of use. Basic components include horizontal and vertical straight sections, horizontal and vertical elbows, downspouts, junctions and numerous support hardware and flextube kits.

FibreGuideFeatures and Benefits:

Speed of Installation
FiberGuide® systems feature a variety of products that allow for quick and easy installation. Express Exit™ drops as well as tool-less products including Snap-Fit™ junctions, snap-on covers and new hinged cover options save valuable time for installers.

Speed of Deployment
The Express Exit system enables new drops to be added or removed quickly and easily.
A drop can be added into a fully loaded raceway in seconds—without cutting.

Raceway Flexibility
FiberGuide features 38 support structures, over 75 fittings, multiple drop options and
several other components to suit any application you create.

Fiber Protection
ADC’s broadband expertise translates into maximum protection for your network.
Two-inch minimum bend radius is maintained throughout the system regardless of the raceway size.

Strength and Durability
100% raceway reliability—stands up to any challenge.

Protecting your fibre, your style: Throughout the FibreGuide length, the minimum 2 inch bending requirement is met irrespective of the raceway size. Multiple options from 2x2 inches to 4x24 inches are available to suit any custom requirement. The choice of 38 support structures, over 75 fittings, multiple drop options and several other components allow you to mix and match components to suit any application you create.

FibreGuideReliable and Safe: The fibre raceway is highly durable. It is capable of protecting installations with its superior holding force. It directly accommodates the holding brackets. Easy positioning of downspouts anywhere along the raceway will allow for a precise ascending and descending pathways for your cable. Furthermore, the entire solution is constructed of flame retardant material.

This simple but intelligent consideration given to the needs of today’s Data centre make the ADC KRONE solution the solution of choice among fibre raceway solutions. The Fibre raceway is available in Plenum and non-Plenum. To delight you further we offer it in yellow and black too!
