Gazing into the future and being absolutely right about it is often a skill that all of us wish to possess but very few are rarely able to master. The cone of uncertainty has ever so many events - minor as they may be today - that can have a disruptive impact on technology a few years later. For example who would have thought that the rapid adoption of Ethernet would scale heights of computing to become all pervasive in our lives. Today 10 Gbps over LAN is a reality and ADC KRONE has gained global acclaim for being one of the industry’s first to commercially launch its 10G UTP cabling solutions.

Since then, the adoption and relevance of 10Gbps is getting more appealing in India where large mission critical data centres are embryonic. Several global active equipment vendors now have provided positive guidance towards availability of switches that would support 10 Gig over UTP.
